HERE. Searching for colleagues is your first step in establishing your network on MyLegal.com. It is important to search for colleagues before you invite them to join as they may already be a member. This is a perfect way for you to connect with your colleagues, reconnect with colleagues you may have lost touch with or send a request to someone you would like to meet.
• Invite your colleagues to join MyLegal.com by clicking HERE. By inviting your colleagues to join, you become an integral part of expanding the diversity of knowledge, information and opinions that are exchanged on the site. PLUS, if you get the most people to join MyLegal.com, you will win a Smart Car (See contest rules for complete details)!!
• Create or search for a blog by clicking HERE. Have you always wanted to share your thoughts about a particular topic and garner the opinions of others? Well, here’s your chance. Let people know what you are thinking or what’s on your mind by creating your own blog. You can also subscribe to your colleagues’ blogs if you are interested in what they have to say.
• Create events and appointments by clicking HERE. Keep track of upcoming events (public and private) and appointments. Have an event that you would like your colleagues to know about? Simple. Create an event and easily send invitations to your colleagues. Have an upcoming meeting or deadline you would like to be reminded of? No problem. Create an appointment and set up the necessary reminder.
• Create and join groups by clicking HERE. Do you share a common interest with another member on MyLegal.com? Great! Join that group and participate in their discussions and events. Don’t see the group you’re interested in? No problem. Create you own and invite people to join. Groups can be public or private.
• Create or contribute to a public discussion by clicking HERE. Do you want to see what people in your industry are talking about? Q: How do I make an event a featured event?
A: When you are creating a new event, at the bottom of the window, there is a check box that says, "Make My Event a Featured Event." Click that box and the MyLegal.com team will be automatically notified of your event. Your event will then be placed in queue for approval.

A: Make sure the correct month is displayed. You can choose calendar or list view.

Q: What is "My Notifications?"
A: The My Notifications section of your My Home keeps you up to date and informed. A short notification will appear in your My Notifications when the following actions occur:
- Arrival of new messages from your colleagues
- New requests to join other members' networks
- A colleague posts a new blog to which you are subscribed
- Newly posted messages on My Board
- Reminder of an upcoming event or appointment
- Someone comments on your blog

Q: What is "My Network?"
A: In the My Network section of My Home, all colleagues in your network are listed and can be sorted by name and searched. The My Network section also shows any pending network requests from other users.

A: My Blog is the place where you can create and manage your own personal blogs. You would create a blog if you wanted to begin discussion on a specific topic. If you subscribe to a blog created by another member, it will appear in the My Favorite Bloggers section.
To view a listing of all public blogs, click search blogs, type a "%" in the box and click search.

You can invite your colleagues to join an event and also request that your event be featured on our main homepage. You also have the ability to create appointments to keep track of your personal calendar.

A: My Groups is the place where you can create your own network of colleagues to share challenges and discuss solutions. Create or join a group to exchange ideas and stay in touch with your colleagues and meet others with the same interests, concerns or challenges.

Q: What is the "Forums" section?
A: My Forum is a public meeting place that helps facilitate open discussion about various topics. You can create your own thread for all to see and comment upon or respond to threads which have already been posted.
MyLegal.com has created forums for your convenience. Each forum has three sections: General Discussion, Classifieds and Product/Service Review. The General Discussion forum heps facilitate open discussion about a field of interest. The Classified Forum facilitates the sale or purchase of items. The Product Review Forum allows members to view comments about products and services before purchase.
Although the forums section is divided by profession, the discussions within each section are available to all members.

A: My Network is where all of your colleagues are listed, whereas My Groups are groups for like-minded individuals that you create or join.

Click "My Photos"
Click "Profile Pictures"
Click "Upload Images"
Click "Browse" and find the image that you saved on your desktop
Click "Ok" or "Open"
Click the radio button to the right of "Browse" and underneath "Set as Profile Image" so there is a dot in that circle.
